Trying a new layout

I've wanted to have my blog on the stretch format so my long posts didn't look so . . . well . . . long. Sometimes I get going and writing and you have to scroll down three pages to read the whole post and I want to save you all from getting carpal tunnel or whatever you get from scrolling your screen down a crazy amount of times. So I've worked up a background that lets me use the whole page. I'm not sure I love it yet, but I'm running out of time to work on it today, so here it is for now. It might change again . . . haven't decided. It's local native american rock art of someone hunting a bighorn sheep. Kind of fun.

I'm digging the stretched post space, but I'm not real sure about the colors. Maybe if the font were just a wee bit darker? Or it could just be me - I have a lot of problems seeing well when there's not high contrast (oh wait, I think I said that on your friend's blog contest too!!! lol). Don't just take my word for it, it may not distract others like it does me - but that's how I "see" it.

I must say I like the art in the background though. That is a GREAT idea. :-)

And btw, your playlist is fun. I haven't heard anything by Roy Orbison in a very long while.

Looks good to me but then again...what do I know. lol I don't see any sheep either. Maybe changed already. Or maybe I'm just too sleepy......zzzzzzzzz

I must be missing something. I see no sheep. I like the one you have though.

I like the wider version also. I don't care for narrow posts that you have to constantly scroll down to read.

Yeah, I liked the sheep picture, but I couldn't get it so I could read easily over it (I'm a fan of high contrast also). So it changed before most of you even saw it. Crazy around here--I've got lots to post, but no time right now!
