I'm back from girls camp and recovering slowly. I will update with some fun stuff we did and learned in a later post, but right now I just wanted to give you all a quick heads up on a sweet giveaway. Been kind of hot out there for camping, hasn't it?
I for sure wouldn't want to go east of me to the desert to camp, but we went west "up the mountain" and aside from the nights being really cold, it was actually quite pleasant. Well, except for the pouring rain the night before coming home. That morning was damp and cold and everything had to get packed up wet, taken home, and set up again to dry. We have 2 tents in our yard now and tarps/canvas/ropes/etc hanging on every elevated place around here to get dried out. Which is why I took a 4 hour nap yesterday after it all! It's mostly dry now, so I'll be packing it all up this afternoon before it gets rained on again . . .
