When I was in the field working construction, we would heat up our lunch by putting it in the windshield in winter. I imagine it get more difficult as you get closet to the poles.

Interesting article. I don't have a solar oven as of yet but I do enjoy hearing how they work and learning more about them. Someday..

I enjoy my solar oven, there is a learning curve with them. I live in sunny San Diego so I do not have a sun problem, but it is amazing how low in the sky the sun is in the winter. Those peak times are very important! Thanks!

That's awesome! Can you move it around while it's cooking to keep it in the sun? Or does that mess it up?
